I have a personality disorder- E4-MW – HELP!
I have a personality disorder- E4-MW (Enthusiasm 4 My Work)
I’m excited about helping my clients with growing their online business opportunities. I talk loud, I smile, I’m charged with energy. I see the picture clearly but in my exuberance I sometimes lose the ability to translate it into plain English.
I hope I don’t have to suffer alone. I need help, and I think it will come in a decrease of caffeine, perhaps. Maybe deep breathing, slowing down the passionate evangelical style of delivery. Maybe I know too much. Maybe I’ve seen a brighter light and they are still walking in the shade. I’m guessing that all I need to do is step aside 2 feet and the sun will shine on their craniums and blind their vision so fast they’ll be scrambling around for sunglasses- or welding goggles. I sure hope so, because there’s lots of work to do to get them up to date with how the online world is trying to find their amazing businesses and service. I feel like an excited friend hooking someone up on a blind date- I KNOW they are a perfect match, but do they?
Am I alone? I feel like I am sometimes, because of the blank stares I get, the vacant look in their eyes as they happily plod along with mediocrity, thinking that good enough is good enough.
Does anyone else suffer from this affliction? Better yet- is there a cure?

Sounds like a productive advantage problem – it doesn’t feel comfortable, but it drives you toward producing products and services of excellence.

Brilliant post my friend, brilliant!!
There’s nothing wrong with being infectious (in this sense anyway) – however you are right, like many experts in ones’ fields of expertise, the enthusiasm can be overwhelming for the masses.
Pick and chose your selected audience and I am sure they will recieve the knowledge willingly!
The old saying of “if my mother can understand what I’m saying, then I’ve got a good shot at this” comes to mind!
